NEUROMUSCULAR TAPING CERTIFICATION COURSE – ORTHOPEDIC

Day 1

  • NeuroMuscular Taping: traumatology and orthopedic surgery, introduction to the management of the patient from acute to functional phases, examples of applications in post-surgical rehabilitation, clinical reasoning in lower limb applications
  • Practical applications: compression and decompression
    • Treatment of simple and compound fractures
    • Hip and knee prosthesis
    • Mastectomy
    • Ligament and tendon injuries
    • Patellar, femoral and tibial fractures
    • Foot and ankle surgery (hallux valgus, external fixators, stabilizers)
    • Total and partial amputations
  • Discussion

Day 2

  • NeuroMuscular Taping: examples of applications in post-surgical rehabilitation, clinical reasoning of applications after spinal surgery and in the upper limb
  • Practical applications: compression and decompression
    • Herniated disc, disc stabilization, vertebral spacers and implants
    • Shoulder surgery (tendon and ligament reconstruction, stabilization, endoprosthesis)
    • Humeral and radioulnar fractures
    • Hand surgery (carpal tunnel, rhizarthrosis, tendon and muscle sutures, fractures)
    • Surgery of the elbow (fractures and endoprosthesis)
    • Pre- and post-surgical clubfoot
    • Total and partial amputations

  • Assessment and test
