Duration: 2 days, 18 hours
Target audience: Physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists, occupational therapist assistants, doctors, sports medicine professionals, students

Day 1

  • NeuroMuscular Taping: concepts, theory, and application techniques
  • Introduction of corrective techniques
    • Correction of joint, space, tendon, patella axis
    • Clubfoot, neurological conditions and principles of neurological treatment
    • Lymphatic correction, functional limb lymphedema treatments
  • Practical applications
    • Upper limb muscles: pectoralis major, rhomboid, extensor pollicis longus, extensor of the little finger
    • Upper limb disorders: lateral epicondylitis of the elbow, medial epicondylitis of the elbow, elbow bursitis, arthritis, shoulder inflammation
    • Muscles: rectus abdominus, adductor, psoas
  • Discussion

Day 2

  • Practical applications
    • Scar treatment
    • Conditions of the spine and hip: Spondylosis, myofascial pain, herniated discs, sciatica
    • Muscles of the lower limb: Hamstring muscles, extensor longus, long extensor of the foot, short flexor hallux
    • Conditions of the foot: Hallux valgus, fallen arch, plantar fasciitis, lymphedema of the lower limb
    • Muscles of the neck sternocleidomastoid muscles
    • Conditions: Cervical arthritis of the temporomandibular joint
  • Discussion Assessment and test

 

Stage 2 covers the following certified treatment protocols:

NMTC-LH#1        Lumbar hernia

NMTC-GS#1        Post shoulder surgery

NMTC-HV#1        Post hallux valgus surgery
